It can meet customers' testing requirements for different current and power levels. Thanks to its independent multi-channel design, users can configure each channel according to the quantity and specifications of the DUT. At the same time, it provides high-precision output and measurement and incorporates multiple safety features for testing. It is suitable for a variety of test applications, such as power modules, intelligent industrial equipment, automotive electronics, and charge/discharge testing of various small-capacity batteries.

The IT-M3400 bidirectional power supply features a compact 1U half-rack size and supports output power up to 800 W. It combines high power density with high resolution, high precision, and high stability. The output voltage can reach 600 V, while the output current can reach 30 A. The series includes 12 models with a wide range of output specifications, allowing a single unit to support a wide range of applications.
Sourcing & Sinking Seamless Switching
Unlike traditional power supplies and electronic loads, which may experience a brief jump or discontinuity when switching between positive and negative current, the IT-M3400 integrates source and sink functions into one unit. It enables high-speed, seamless switching between sourcing and sinking. This fast and seamless transition effectively prevents voltage or current overshoot, making the IT-M3400 ideal for testing batteries, battery packs, battery protection boards, and other energy storage equipment.
CC & CV Priority Function
The IT-M3400 bidirectional DC power supply supports CC/CV priority functions, helping customers address a variety of challenges in long-term testing. For tests that require high-speed voltage, users can select CV priority mode to achieve a faster voltage rise. Alternatively, CC priority mode provides output current without overshoot, making it suitable for testing DUTs with constant-current operating characteristics. This function is widely used in power supply transient simulation and characterization test applications, such as lasers, integrated circuits, charge/discharge testing, and automotive electronics

High Energy Regeneration Efficiency
The IT-M3400 laboratory power supply supports energy regeneration with efficiency of up to 90%. This helps reduce both electricity and cooling costs while creating a quieter testing environment.

Module Architecture, Flexible Configuration
The IT-M3400 modular DC power supply features a modular plug-in architecture that allows instruments to be easily stacked like building blocks without additional accessories. Users can also choose the IT-E154 rack installation kit to install one or more instruments in a standard 19-inch cabinet.
Multi-Channel Independent Control, Up to 256 Channels
The IT-M3400 provides flexible multi-channel operation, allowing users to build multi-channel source/sink systems. Each unit displays its channel number on the front panel. A PC only needs to connect to one unit to control and program all units independently through the GUI software.
The IT-M3400 supports up to 16 × 16 channels. A 37U rack can accommodate up to 64 units, providing 64 independent channels. It also supports parallel connection for high-power testing requirements, providing users with greater flexibility and functionality.
Parallel Function
The IT-M3400 programmable DC power supply supports connecting multiple units of the same model in parallel to build high-current and high-power systems. Up to 16 units can be connected in parallel using master-slave mode to meet different testing requirements.

Battery Emulation Function
The IT-M3400 DC power supply can simulate up to 99 batteries connected in series or parallel. Users can quickly define a battery matrix by setting parameters such as battery voltage, capacity, internal resistance, and SOC.
With ITECH's optional professional BSS2000 battery simulation software, users can quickly create battery characteristic curves by setting common battery parameters. The software also allows users to set the battery's initial capacity and verify product performance under different battery conditions.
BSS2000 also supports importing MATLAB battery matrices or actual battery charge/discharge curves through CSV files, enabling accurate simulation of real battery charge and discharge characteristics.
